English is not graded. What counts is the mathematics and how you convey it.Exam design
Part 1 · AI-free written problems (no devices, 40 min)
•
Every problem is drawn from the published pset pool (textbook Problem Sets), with only the numbers/matrices changed. No new problem types.
•
Scope: Midterm = Lec 1–11 / Final = Lec 13–35 (includes probability Lec 20 and Lec 30).
•
Bring writing instruments only — no calculator, formula sheet, notes, or devices.
Part 2 · AI-use written interview
Each exam also asks you to describe how you used AI as a tutor to understand this material — not to do homework or solve problems.•
Write about: which concept you got stuck on, what you asked the AI, and how you verified/reconstructed its answer (with concrete examples).
•
Not this / forbidden: using AI to do homework, solve exam problems, or generate answers — that is not assessed, and no devices are allowed in the exam room.
•
Why: to make using AI as a learning tutor (not an answer machine) part of what is assessed.
•
Format: ~200–300 words, written in the exam room from your own past learning, no devices. Graded on sincerity, specificity, and a verifying attitude (not right/wrong).
Participation — per-session submission (due D-1 24:00)
Before every session, by the midnight before class, submit three items on the LMS:
1. Muddiest Point — the one concept still unclear after your pre-study.
2. Hand-solved pset scan — the assigned pset problems worked out by hand (photo/scan, PDF). Handwriting only — no typed or AI-generated solutions.
3. AI-use note (2–4 sentences) — whether AI tools helped your study of this pset/topic, and how AI helped you overcome what you could not understand on your own.
•
Graded on sincerity, the seriousness of your handwritten work, and the specificity of the AI-use note (not right/wrong). Submitting the night before lets the presenter and instructor address your Muddiest Point.
Presentation (30 pts)
•
One per student, 9/9–12/14. All sessions are solo presentations.
•
Slots are assigned 9/2 by difficulty–competence matching.
•
Rubric: accuracy 30 · explain ≥1 pset problem 20 · own example 15 · application 15 · Q&A 20.

영어 표현은 채점하지 않는다. 평가 대상은 수학 내용과 전달이다.시험 설계
1부 · AI-free 서면 문제 (기기 없음, 40분)

모든 문제는 공개된 pset 풀(교재 Problem Set)에서 숫자·행렬만 바꿔 출제한다. 새 유형 없음.
•
범위: 중간 = Lec 1–11 / 기말 = Lec 13–35(확률 Lec 20·Lec 30 포함).
•
지참: 필기구만. 계산기·수식표·노트·기기 불가.
2부 · AI 활용 서면 인터뷰
시험에는 문제풀이 외에, “이 범위를 학습하며 AI를 이해를 돕는 튜터로 어떻게 썼는가” 를 서술하는 인터뷰가 포함된다.•
쓰는 것: 어떤 개념이 막혔고, AI에 무엇을 물었고, 그 답을 어떻게 검증·재구성했는지(구체 예).
•
금지: 숙제 대행·문제풀이·답 생성 용도는 평가 대상이 아니며, 시험장 기기 사용도 금지.
•
취지: AI를 “정답 기계”가 아니라 “학습 튜터”로 쓰는 습관을 평가에 넣는다.
•
작성: 시험장에서 기기 없이 본인 학습 경험을 200~300단어로. 채점은 성실성·구체성·검증 태도(정오 아님).
참여 — 매 세션 제출물 (D-1 24:00까지)
매 세션 전날 자정까지 아래 3종을 LMS에 제출:
1. Muddiest Point — 사전학습 후 가장 막힌 개념 1개.
2. pset 손풀이 스캔 — 지정 pset 문항을 손으로 직접 푼 사진/스캔(PDF). 자필만 — 타이핑·AI 출력 금지.
3. AI 활용 서술(2~4문장) — 이번 pset·개념 학습에 AI 도구의 도움을 받았는지, 그리고 이해하지 못한 것을 AI 도움으로 어떻게 극복했는지.
•
채점: 성실성·자필 풀이의 진지성·AI 활용 서술의 구체성(정오 아님). 전날 제출로 발표자·교수가 muddiest point를 반영한다.
발표 (30점)
•
1인 1회, 9/9~12/14. 모두 1인 단독 발표.
•
순번은 9/2 난이도-역량 매칭 결정.
•
